2025 Roy J. Carver Co-Laboratory
515-294-7491

The Genomic Technologies Facility is equipped with a MassARRAY® system (SEQUENOM Inc.) with Nanodispenser for transfer of samples onto SpectroChips and a MALDI TOF mass spectrometer for automatic data acquisition; Cartesian PixSys 5500 Arrayer with an automated microtiter plate stacker/destacker for generating microarrays, which are housed in a controlled humidity chamber. The Facility also includes a high-throughput ProScanArrayHT microarray scanner (PerkinElmer), an automatic Lucidea SlidePro Hybstation (Amersham Biosciences), a Leica CM1850 cryostat, several PTC-225 DNA Engine Tetrad Cycler (MJ Research, Inc), a PALM micro laser and a real-time PCR system Mx4000 (Stratagene). Software available for microarray data capture and analysis include Biodiscovery, Inc.'s CloneTracker™ and ImaGene™ software products.
